Frank Martin will face Ryan Kielczweski live on FOX in Pacquiao Vs Ugas headliner

In April, 26-year-old Frank Martin (13-0 KOs), won a convincing knockout win over Jerry Perez. He had already added two more victories to his record in 2020. He stopped Tyrone Luckey and Reymond Yanong in December. Martin, a seven-time National Champion Amateur, was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He now trains in Dallas with Errol Spence Jr., and under the guidance of Derrick James.

Ryan Kielczweski, 32 years old (30-5-11 KOs), is his opponent. Kielczweski looks to rebound from October's decision loss to Gabriel Flores Jr. The native of Quincy, Massachusetts has won four of his six previous bouts and has lost all of them.

Jose Valenzuela was born in Los Mochis Sinaloa in Mexico. He is now a stablemate to David Benavidez, the unbeaten two-time champion. The 22-year old turned pro in 2018, and is currently on an eight-bout knockout streak, which includes victories over Nelson Hampton (and Clay Burns) in 2021.

He will face Esteban Sanchez, a 22-year-old Mexican native (17-1, 8KOs), in his first U.S. bout. Sanchez, who most recently defeated Carlos Reyes in May, will make his U.S. debut August 21.

Steven Torres, 4-0, 4KOs, has won knockouts in all of his fights since December 2019, when he turned pro. He stopped Joshua Tuani in round 2 with a body shot. In his short career, the 23-year old has not allowed an opponent to make it past round two.

He will face Justin Rolfe, Fairfield, Maine (6-2-1, 5 KOs), a 29 year-old fighter who has won back to back fights leading up to August 21.

Burley Brooks (5 KOs, 6-2) takes on Cameron Rivera (9-3, 6 KOS), at middleweight. Unbeaten John Dato (9 KOs), going up against Angel Contreras (10-4-2; 6 KOs), at featherweight. Mickel Spencer makes his pro-boxing debut at lightweight in a four-rounder.

News: Spence Jr Says Pacquiao Will Be Passing The Torch To Him

Errol Spence Jr. describes his bout with Manny Pacquiao as a "passing of the torch" event in which the departing superstar will hand over stardom to him. Spence (27-0, 21 KOs) will then be the next PPV star. Errol claims that since Floyd Mayweather Jr. refused to fight him so he could take the torch from him, Spence will take it from Pacquiao (62-7-2, 39 KOs) next month in their battle on August 21st at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pacquiao rose boxing prominence after taking the torch from Oscar De La Hoya in 2008. Pacquiao was a popular fighter before that bout, but he wasn't the mega-star he became after his eighth-round knockout of De La Hoya. Interestingly, Mayweather Jr decided to retire with an easy fight against Andre Berto in September 2015 rather than facing Spence or Keith Thurman, two of the young lions at the moment who were ready to beat Mayweather and grab his torch/scalp to become the next star. You might say that Mayweather was selfish in no...

NEWS: Fighting Words – Pacquiao vs Spence: A Manny-Splendored Thing

When it comes to the best battling the best, the last week has been a mixed blessing. We are only a few days away from Josh Taylor's outstanding win against José Ramirez , a match between one guy who had two of the major world championships at junior welterweight and another who had the other two. Taylor won all four titles and was crowned the undisputed 140-pound champion. We're also coming off the dizzying news that Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua had finally reached an agreement for a massive bout that would establish an undisputed heavyweight champion — only for that match to fall through. An arbitrator concluded that Fury must uphold his previous deal to face Deontay Wilder a third time. So, right before Taylor-match Ramirez's on ESPN on Saturday, Fury inked a deal to meet Wilder again in front of the TV cameras. Then there's the welterweight class. Errol Spence has two world championships and is regarded as the finest fighter at 147 pounds and one of the top fighter...
